A Question Answered

I asked my wife, Tara, when I should get started on Volume 2, my second book. She said YESTERDAY! That was a pretty good damn answer.

What are my goals for the second volume of autobiographical columns? Well, hell, I guess just sharing with you good Readers about the daily life of a piss-poor, pain-in-the-ass person, hell-bent on being a writer. And some of the struggles a good-loving woman has to hold the hand of such a person.

See: I would be nowhere & nothing without my wife. If anything, she kicks my ass when it needs to be kicked, putting me in my rightful potted place. I can be a stubborn man. A lecherous & idle man, always with ideas brewing in the mind – but needing a good kick-in-the-ass to sit at the fucking laptop or typer to get it down.

That is what she did today. And it is something she does for me every day.

What a woman!

The dogs get to have their wonderful life being dogs, sleeping & eating at their own pace… Oh, what it would be like to be a dog!

I think that is what I would like to be reincarnated as if such a thing exists…

Back to the next book: There are going to be some pieces of writing I will not publish on this blog. For a couple of reasons, I guess.

  1. They are going to be pieces I wrote from my past. I was an altogether DIFFERENT writer back in my 20s. (Hopefully, I won’t embarrass myself too much.)
  2. Some of the content in the next book will be for ADULTS ONLY!
  3. I would like Vol. 2 to be something different. Not just recycled columns from this website.

Either way, I’m sure all of us are going to be entertained.

Let me know what you think.
